We’re proud to share that Clydebank Health and Care Centre recently won TWO awards at the Building Better Healthcare Awards in London!

‘Best Collaborative Arts Project (Static)’GOLD WINNNER

This award focused on the integration of art and the positive impact it can have on the patient and staff experience within a health or care environment.

Judges’ Citation: ‘The judges chose a winner that truly integrated the art into the whole build and with it telling a clear story.’

The arts project provided a narrative that recognises the past while presenting a future centred on wellbeing and reconnection to nature. The research and celebration of the social history of Clydebank was integrated into the design through art landscaping and interiors and was central to the project’s success in the community reconnecting people with the River Clyde.

The @building_better_healthcare awards reflect the best projects across the UK so we are delighted with this recognition. Well done to our clients NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde West Dumbartonshire Health and Social Care Partnership and hub West Scotland.

We would also like to celebrate our arts colleagues Ruth Olden Jim Buchanan @bespokeatelier Jackie Sands and Wide Open. Their fantastic work translated detailed community engagement into physical artworks carefully embedded in the design.
